We do not ask you to think like our program but the program tries to do like you do.
Freddie Shopping List simply replaces your paper lists bringing some important functionalities that can make easier your life. Without giving you headache with heavy screens and complex functionalities.
You need to name "locus" where you put away your shoppings. The refrigerator(s), freezer(s), kitchen shelfs etc. Then you name stores where you usually go shopping.
You can begin to make your shopping lists or describing what you have already in stock, in the refrigerator, freezer... Thats all.
Important:
When you check an article as bought (in a shopping list) or consumed (in a stock locus) it goes by itself to a destination list. From stock to shopping list and vise versa. So your shopping lists and your stocks are auto-filled!
Naturally, the first time, if there is several choices, like several refrigerators, it will ask you in which one you want put your refrigerators stuffs away. Afterwards it will remember from which store each article comes from or where you put them away.
Auto-filling of your lists:
Trick for those who have several fridges or stock locus of the same category: At the first shopping of new articles, check articles going to the same place together. In this way you put them away at the right place.
Category:
In each shopping list you can choose in which kind of "locus" you put it away (refrigerator, freezer or shelf). It is possible to change the category of an existent article. To do so, send it to a shopping list first (if it is not already in) then edit it.
List Sharing:
In the commercial version of Freddie Shopping List (not present in lite version), you can choose a screen name for communicate lists to other users. Other Freddie Shopping List users to whom you communicated you screen name can send you a list. You are able too to send a list to a user which communicated you his screen name. The list will be available on the server during 24 hours to be downloaded. Once downloaded it is removed automatically.
